Support

Support piggiesDid you know 100% of ticket revenues go to the performers? It’s Fringe tradition.

As a member of the Canadian Association Fringe Festivals, Piggyback is beholden to abide by this very admirable rule to give all the show dollars back to the artists. On the flipside, it also makes us dependent on the generosity of the league of volunteers who help each year and of our loyal sponsors to be able to put on the festival.

So, come out to see a show, buy a T-shirt, sponsor an event, or give a donation to support free-range creativity and performance.

Volunteers are the backbone of the Festival – they make the Fringe possible! Can you spare an hour or two here or there? Four hours gets you a Piggyback T-shirt and a couple of show tickets.

Let us know what you want to help out with.

Our touring performers come from far and wide (over the pond, down under, even Toronto, and further). When you’re on the road, what better way to get to know people in towns you visit than to be hosted in a friendly home? And what better way for you to get to meet some interesting people and show them around our beautiful neck of the woods.

Linda Vanderlee hosted a whole troupe from Portland Oregon at her home in Rupert and says: “It was a delight to host the performers at my place - they are fun, self sufficient and easy guests to have.”

Of course you'll get some tickets and T-shirts too to say “Thanks for the hospitality!”

Let us know if you’d like to host a performer or two (or more?) during the festival by filling out the contact form and we’ll get in touch with you.
